Self-extinguishing Grade (Non-HBCD)
Self-extinguishing grade (Non-HBCD) is the high-performance, fire-safe grade of EPS. It is distinguished by its use of non-hexabromocyclododecane (Non-HBCD) flame retardant chemistry. This grade holds the formal UL 94HF-1 Fire Rating , verifying its suitability for highly regulated applications like construction, thermal insulation, and protective packaging for electronics. It is characterized by a wide processing window and excellent fusion and surface finish.
Low-density
